Church of San Paolo a Ripa d'Arno Piazza San Paolo a Ripa d'Arno, Lungarno Sonnino - Pisa 050-41515 Open to the public at the old Mass known as the Old Cathedral for the functions carried out until the completion of the church of Santa Maria Assunta in 'homonymous Cathedral Square, this beautiful church built between the ninth and tenth centuries, it was enlarged and embellished over the centuries. A splendid example of Romanesque-Pisan was recently restored and returned to the essential forms. The interior is impressive score in three sets by massive granite columns and capitals with archaic figures.
